The book reviewed here is his magisterial contribution to works on the tea ceremony. Editors of this, the 2008 edition, could have done a better job in removing typos (for examples, 'chose' instead of 'choose' on p. 78;|About the Author|The late A. L. Sadler was professor of oriental studies at the University of Sydney for 26 years, as well as professor of Japanese at the Royal Military College of Australia.
