Thousands of U.S. servicement were held as POW's by the Japanese and because of the horrible treatment they had to live through for 3 1/2 years, only about 40% survived. As an amateur writer/researcher I stumbled onto this story while working on a book cover|About the Author|James W. Parkinson is a nationally known trial lawyer who was co-lead counsel in the JPOW case. A graduate of Brigham Young University, he has law offices in Palm Desert, California.
