Being a fan of the likes of Nadeem Aslam, Daniyal Mueenuddin, Kamila Shamsie, Mohsin Hamid, Mohd. Hanif, Amitav Ghosh, etc., I was somehow expecting this book to be just as well written, insightful and thought provoking. Alas! It was not to be.
