I collect Umyyad and Abassid dirhams, so there was not much of interest to me. In fairness to the author, there is quite a lot of information here. If you collect Ikhshidid coins, there is a wealth of data in this book. I wish someone would write a book like this on the coins of the Umyyads and Abassid|About the Author|Jere L.
