||2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.| To much angst and lots of fillers|By Alexander|Keep in mind that this is not a book about archeology, grave robbery, cultural heritage preservation etc. This is a book about author and his philosophy, which is not well defined ("no simple answers").
Maybe he decided that it was necessary to cement toghether heap of essays and articles but as a result half of the book is de|From Publishers Weekly|Childs (The Animal Dialogues) intermingles personal experiences as a desert ecologist and adventurer with a journalistic look at scientists, collectors, museum officials, and pot hunters to explore what should happen to ancient artifacts.
